ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Services continue on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and are also available for viewing on You Tube under Pastor Paul the Presbyterian. The majority of our congregation joins us each Sunday morning and everyone is overjoyed to be able to worship together again after the COVID restrictions were lifted. We continue to record services from both congregations - First Presbyterian and Dyer.
Feeding the Flock began in house service on July 24, 2021 each Saturday beginning at 1:30 am and serving until 1:30 pm. Since we are back to serving our guests lunch in our Fellowship Hall, we will no longer be offering take out service. Hope you can come and join us one of these saturdays
Rev. Anderson has resumed the Wednesday morning 10 AM Bible Study which is held downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to attend.
Rev. Anderson is doing a Lenten Bible Study "The Journey of Prayer" on Wednesday evenings beginning with a Soup Supper at 5:30 pm followed by Bible Study at 6:00 pm. We will rotate the session between Dyer Presbyterian and First Presbyterian. The Schedule is as follows:

Missions:
Donations of non-perishable food items are greatly appreciated and are donated to Our Lady of Consolation Food Pantry.
Our church in partnership with The Congregations of Merrillville, sponsors a free "community meal" on Saturdays between 11AM-2PM - "Feeding the Flock". There will are eleven churches in the Merrillville area partnering together with the Congregations of Merrillville to provide these meals each Saturday: Dyer Presbyterian, First Presbyterian Church, Hour of Restoration, Impact Church, Our Lady of Consolation, Peace United Church of Christ, Protection of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, St. Andrew the Evangelist, St. Joan of Arc, Trinity Lutheran, and Word of Life plus both the Merrillville Breakfast and Lunch Kiwanis and The Lions Club. We are all looking forward to bringing this ministry to Merrillville. To date we have provided over 65,000 meals.
We are 'nesting' in our Church with The Hour of Restoration who worships at 10 AM on Sunday in the Chapel and enjoys Bible Study on Tuesday evenings from 7 until 9 PM. We have a new congregation, Mission Church of Merrillville OPC who has a worship service on Sunday at 11 AM with Sunday School at 10 AM and Bible Study on Thursday Evening at 6:30 pm. Evenings from 5 pm until 9 pm in our Gathering Room, Heaven on Earth Training Center International meets for worship and fellowship.
